What a private table. I prefer to sit facing the room rather than turning my back to it. Perhaps they put the naughty customers at this table so that they face the wall. Perhaps this is the time-out table.
The light reminds me of the one used in interrogation scenes in movies. Dark room, with the lamp hanging while the sitting suspect is being questioned or tortured by an officer. The table calls for a very private meal :-)

One of these days, it'll be your photos on those walls!
Horses and water---must be Ocala.
Brattcat we will just pull the table out and sit facing the people. They want to see us anyway. MB
So neat and cozy. Perfect for a tete-a-tete, don't you think?
Looks like a nice place to visit--both the restaurant AND the surrounding area depicted in the pix!
Do you have McAlister's? You do know that resto originated in Mississippi, right? ;)
We go there for lunch quite often. It's the only "healthy" place near where my husband and I work.
I enjoy looking a local photographs in restaurants. These are really nice.
This like a nice place to stop and have a meal...or just to go for something sweet with coffee.
How charming!!

I really like it when places have old photographs displayed on the walls. I always find them so interesting.
Love the B&W photos on the wall.
