Not a teepee in sight

Tee Pee Tire sells automobile tires and batteries and does some automotive repairs. It is located in a brick building. I saw no native Americans and no teepees. It's an enigma!

Florida Terrorist Hunting Permit

Braggadocio is big in Florida, as evidenced by the numerous "brave" bumper stickers. I figure this person would probably melt into a puddle if ever confronted by a terrorist. Otherwise, he or she would be fighting in Afghanistan or serving in Iraq.

We're going to be on a hiatus for a period of time. Blogging and commenting will be sporadic. We'll be back, but meanwhile, our very best to all of our CDP blogger friends.

Keep God in America (&) Pray For Our Troops

There seems to be a real danger that God (I assume the owners of this car are referring to the Christian God - this is Ocala, you know) is gonna slip over the border and head to Canada, or God forbid, Mexico! But how are we supposed to keep God here if he/she wants to leave?

And how should we "pray" for our troops?

People are sure funny sometimes!

Anything & Everything

You just can't believe every sign you see. I went in and asked to see a stuffed alligator. They don't carry them. Sheesh!

Bored out of her gourd

It was a slow day at the mall when I shot this photo of an Olan Mills photographer in front of the entrance to Belks Department Store. The young lady was obviously bored out of her gourd but I don't think she liked me taking her photo. Not to worry, though, I am fleet of feet!

An old wreck

Don't ask. All I can say is we have some very strange people in Ocala.
"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again." — Henri Cartier-Bresson
