Anyone who has lived through a Florida hurricane knows only a fool would want to get into a metal box that simulates a hurricane! Yet, here is just such a box. In our local Paddock Mall. I'm guessing it won't last long.
I guess you have a point there. I've never experienced a hurricane - just very heavy storms, and that ain't no fun or joy .... A long day at the races today. Work long shifts most days. Today was our FIKA day. Nice cake, nice people, nice surprises. I hope you enjoyed the bike-ride, though it must have been extremely hot. Have a great afternoon and evening.
I'll pass! On the last day of my stay at the Caribbean island of Antigua (Antigua & Barbuda) a hurricane just passed close by. Even so it was hell and, of course, the plane I was supposed to take didn't even land. I already had my share of hurricanes! :-)
Jacob, you made me laugh when you compared the lion with those old grey men who dye their hair in black. I know exactly what you mean! LOL! They look ridiculously awful and I never understood how can they think they look nice! :-)))
They have one of those here in Jackson, Mississippi. I tried it onces, and I have also been in a real hurricane (Katrina was a Cat 1 Hurricane still when she reached Jackson, MS) and it lacked the rain and all the things that make a hurricane scary. At least they could have made the "Wind" faster than a Cat 1.
There has been one in the Tallahassee Mall for a couple of years and I'm surprised it has lasted that long! I think I even posted a picture of it on my blog awhile back.

It might be fun for those who've never been in high winds. Not something I would want to try. I think your right, it won't last long.
Some people love stupidity and they are just that. MB
Hurricane simulator? Ummm, no, but thank you for asking.
I'd try it. Because as you know, I didn't go to Florida but have just come back from the PNW... :-)
This is so very strange....I don't know what to say. And they charge for this experience! Think I'll pass.

I think I'd love to wait and after somebody else tries it, ask them how it was!

Hmmm. No thanks. My hair is already having a bad day. :)

Ha! Was just about to say there is one in the Jackson mall too. I never tried it though. Lived through enough hurricanes in Florida, thankyouverymuch.
my first thought was I'd get in it. So was my husbands when I showed it to him.
I would probably try it to see what it is like.
It is very interesting for me! I have not seen before it.
That yellow flower in my last post is a wild flower.

That is strange. I don't like wind at all. Can't imagine paying for that experience!
