Jacob, I bet you are thinking of Big Surf in Tempe. Yes, it's still in business. The Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale also has a pool with a sandy beach; no waves though.
Beautiful image! Could be called a springy sky, but your way sounds better. :) (Enjoyed your recollections of the old streetcar lines on CDP yesterday. Some of Los Angeles's finer moments, to be sure.)
Lovely picture! I can hear the wind whisper...-:) Minnesota must be a very beautiful place. Perhaps that's why so many Swedes emigrated to Minnesota, and brought the building style etc with them from the 'old' land.....
I hope you're enjoying your Saturday evening. Best wishes
I can feel the breeze rustling through that grass. Yes I too remember 1968 Chicago - I was in Windsor (across the river from Detroit) watching TV during the convention and remember being so apprehensive!

Ah, it's whispering an invitation to us. Lovely.
This is a different shot for you...with just a hint of something man-made. Beauty!
I love it when the sky is full of white puffy clouds.
Love that blue sky!

A soft breeze, eh?!
Beautiful! Love the Pampas Grass.

I had the same reaction as Birdman, Jacob. This shot does not bear your signature.

The grass is so graceful, reminding me of feathers.
It's been a week now with our smokey skies from Arizona and I miss the blue. Beautiful photo Jacob!

Purrrrrfect! Tall grass, a tree, blue sky and white clouds. Ahh.
