Interesting about the Germans in Russia. Catherine the great went to Germany and wanted homesteaders in the Volga area and off the Germans went. They were good farmers and even invented a wonderful winter wheat that they brought to the US when oppression and high taxes forced them to move west. My father in law's family came from there and then settled in Kansas and eventually Washington. It is pretty interesting.

Are the moon and the electric light competing which is bright? I always like this time of the day, with rosy clouds in the sky especially.

I can’t say thank you enough for your heartfelt and encouraging comments on my posts even when you had a hard time. Wish you a lovely Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year with your loved ones.

Used to love walkin the malls. Now I avoid them, pretty much all together. Always seem to run into people I'm trying to avoid. Makes sense? No?

I'm with others about avoiding malls. I can pass on retail crowding. The nearest ones to us are an hour away. My big store experience is at Costco. Usually that's pretty mellow but today I felt like I was back in the heart of California and that wasn't a good thing. I'm still working on unclenching my jaw.
