HITS is back in town!

HITS (Horses in the Sun) 2015, the international jumping competition, is back in Ocala at the Post Time Farm. Events are scheduled through most of March, culminating in the $1 million Gran Prix event on March 23.

We visited the HITS setup last week. It was rather cool and a weekday so not a lot was happening. But we got some decent photos which we'll post over the next few days.

I wonder if they overheat in those covers.

Horses and money seem to be a popular pairing, don't they, Lowell? I look forward to more of your horsin' around.

(BTW: I got my idea to post tree pix from our friend in Haninge.)

It's been more than 50 years since I had a jumping horse. Ah, brings back memories. She was 17 hands 2 inches high and could easily jump any fence around. I never had any rig that looked like this however.
