Sightseers

This couple was walking in the Silver Springs State Park when they stopped to check out the kayak rentals. They watched for some time, then turned around and walked over to the main part of the park. I don't think they took the boat ride or made any purchases. I had observed them on several occasion and they appeared to have had good time anyway; however, their son was a tad bored at times.

They all seem contemplative.

A kid bored at a park? An unfortunate sign of the times. Hopefully, they had a nice family outing.

You don't need to spend money to have a good time. I like your new header, very attractive.

The son must be waiting for the day they decide to go kayaking!

I agree with Bill. It's not necessary to spend money to have fun. At least that's what I tell myself when I'm running low on same...

Unless one has had experience kayaks can be a challenge. I will bet that young man will remember his trip to Silver Springs fondly as the years go past. Interesting portrait of this family.

Nicely observed Lowell, youngsters these days seem to need some sort of computer device in their hand to be happy.. but I shouldn't make sweeping statements like that ☺all youngsters aren't the same ☺

I'm betting the kid would have loved the kayaking. On the other hand, it's good to keep one's feet on dry ground.
