Green House

Somebody did a good job of renovating an older home in Ocala's historic district, then painted it green.

Actually, I kind of like it.

  1. Nice colors. Makes me want to sip a mint julep on the front porch. My neighbor was in Ocala this month judging a horse show - I'll have to show her your photos.

  4. @ Mike - I don't think I've ever had a mint julep...guess I'd better try one soon. That would be nice to show your neighbor our Ocala photos.

    How did she like Ocala?

  5. Certainly blends into its environment. I wonder what it would have looked like in a snowy landscape of ours.

  6. Everything is green, the house, the lawn, the trees, what a lush green photo. I love it!

  7. Since the green is not too overwhelming, I like it too.

  8. I love the happy spring green color. The gingerbread look and the old-fashioned metal roof give it character, too.

  9. Very nice home and the green is a quite normal tone. I'd like it!

  11. This is a really nice house. I like the tin or metal roof. Nothing else in the world sounds like rain hitting a tin roof.

You are a very talented photographer and an interesting designer. This layout knocks your socks off.

  12. Hi Jacob!

Well preserved indeed. You have some amazing blogs, thank you for sharing your beautiful state, one of our fondest. Yes SynLawn is an ideal alternative for warmer climate. Apparently it has been tested over a period of ten years with no adverse effects. It does look exactly like the real thing, except I would expect that it doesn't feel the same, lol. Thank you for visiting our blog.
