Countryside Presbyterian Church

Ocala has many churches of various denominations. Countryside Presbyterian is located on Highway 200 in a rapidly-developing area.

  5. The colour of the church really pops against that pure blue sky. I'm amazed at how many churches Ocala has!

  6. This one also looks a bit like a converted house to me. I like the Celtic crosses (well, I call them Celtic anyway, maybe it's just me!)

  8. This is a big one! I've never seen such a modern looking Presbyterian church. I think even the newer ones around here are built in an ornate old-timey style. Must be the Florida influence!

  10. What a cool and modern looking church. It says sun and beach to me.
Your area is pretty gorgeous too ya know. Out here where it rains a lot it stays pretty green and so we have lots of lush flowers. MB

  17. seems quiet... the palm trees appear brown. Is it an illusion or is it the real color.

  18. @ Lee - It was quiet...I think one car was parked in the driveway by the entrance. These palm trees look dead to me. They should be bright green palms.

  23. Such a beautiful, peaceful sight you captured here! The colors are mesmerizing.

I enjoyed the drive from Orlando through the Ocala area, passing by the State Park, up north on I-75. It really is a beautiful part of Florida.
