Miracle house


A few weeks ago, Per Stromsjo of Stockholm by Pixels Daily Photo, challenged me to find a house in Ocala painted in the Swedish colors of blue and yellow. While I was unable to locate such a house, I did find a horse barn in Swedish colors.

Still, I was dissatisfied. Then, the other morning while riding my bike alongside Lois Anne as she engaged in her usual 4-mile run, I came across a very beautiful and modern home painted a pale yellow. For some reason I thought of Per Stromsjo and as that thought entered my head the sky morphed into the Swedish flag.

I almost fell off my bike! Quickly I grabbed my camera and took the shot, which was a good thing as shortly thereafter the flag faded away to leave only a brilliant blue sky!

It was a miracle!

    That's nicely done! The flag looks great in the sky, nicely merged, as if it is actually there as seen in the picture!

    @ Mary - Fotoerase is a photo blog involving 50-60 photographers who have been invited to participate.

    When you go there (http://fotoerase.blogspot.com), you need to scroll down and look for my name under a small thumbnail. The wording is like this: "Publicado por Jacob en"...and then the date.

    Click on the words, "Ver Fotographic" on the right and the photo comes up with my description. Click on the photo and it will be enlarged.

    I've posted 4 or 5 photos on Fotoerase.

    To get to some of the earlier ones, you may have go to the bottom of the page and click on the words indicating previous posts...

    @ Greensboro - Yes, on the glass bottom boats. I posted a photo on them a few days ago...the park itself, though, has cut back and is now open only 3-4 days a week.

    :) A true miracle, Jacob. Sorry to hear about the flag fading so soon. Then again, miracles require a lot of practice and most of us will only experience such brief moments.
