Tennessee stacked stone


This is a portion of our neighbor's house, which is constructed of Tennessee stacked stone, of which he is rightly, very proud.

    Simply beautful!

    Down in the Italian South, near the heel of the boot in the Apulian region, there is a village called Alberobello. The houses there are cone-shaped and constructed of stone and if I am not mistaken, stacked stone.

    You have posted many beautiful and interesting houses, but this is a real first: it so strange and fascinating with those stones of different shapes, sizes and shades. Very good catch and not far from home.

    Not unlike meulère stone in Versailles! ;-) It's a lovely house and the stone gives it a warm tone.

    Wow... That looks like a house from the nicer part of St. Louis Park. It shows me there is a lot more to florida than I have experienced.

    This is a beautiful home. I love stonefront houses; my other favourite architectural feature is pillars. Someday I hope to help design my own home and watch it be built from the ground up in a location of my choosing. I would be happy with Tennessee Stacked Stone, though I never knew what it was called until now.

    This looks really great. As everyone agrees, the guy really has reasons to be proud! Léia loves this kind of stone-buildings and would certainly enjoy having such a home!

    Almost like something out of a Grimm's Fairytale. Perhaps the architects for that neighborhood were of German descent?
