Drive-Up

At this drive-up "restaurant" you can obtain the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, etc., that consist of lunch for many Ocalans. Located near a busy intersection, it appears to do a brisk business.

  1. Nice to see that not every fast-food place is part of a chain.

  2. Looks like a true "joint." Always the best places to eat.

  3. At least they are supporting a local business instead of Mackers or Burger Schling!

  4. I would like a place like this within my range. I'll happily get some of my lunches there.

  5. Oh I wish I could drive in tonight, I like the look of it. "Frontier Center" sounds kinda intriguing, I mean this is Florida we're talking about!

  8. Simple but beautiful! Wish you and L. Anne were here in MI with your camera. It's beautiful, but P&S can't capture the beauties.

  11. Looks like a fun local place to eat. Ours is the Ice Berg, a burger/shake joint near downtown. It's expensive, slow, and there's only outdoor seating, but the food is well worth it...even if you just get a shake! Delicious! (And now I wish I had one...)

  13. I hope you're not a regular there, Jacob. It doesn't sound very healthy to me!

  16. @ Beachlike - I forgot. We were gone all weekend, my Internet connection at the hotel was miserable...I'm exhausted. I'm gonna get off my feet and on my back!

  19. You know so many places that are non-descript from the exterior offer the best food in the area. Been surprised many times. Thank you for visiting our blog, no Jacob, no bikes, just people and one of the few places that allow dogs on a leash.
