Mail trucks need to be fixed

Otherwise, we'd have too many little mail trucks running amok.

  2. Recently I drove past a bus repair ... I guess we take for granted these vehicles just keep on keeping on

  6. Mail in my town is delivered to community mailboxes by delivery people driving their own cars with a removable sign that indicates they are on duty. Your mail service appears to be better plus you pay less for each stamp. Hmmm.

  7. Like EG our Mailperson (see I am politically correct) drives her own Jeep and delivers to our mailbox near our property. Rural stuff.
We don't think about them needing to be fixed. I thought--you know--through thick or thin, up or down, rain or sleet---or is that just the mail carrier.!.? Marybeth

  8. Marybeth, our son-in-law in Colorado drives his own right-hand drive jeep to deliver the mail, too. But in Ocala, mail trucks are provided and the government fixes them as needed. You can imagine the wear and tear!

  9. That's funny, and reminds me that I forgot to check the mailbox today.

  10. what is that item on the other side of the truck? A trike? I've never seen one for mail delivery. Ocala is very progressive, Jacob. I wonder if they wear a mail helmet?

  12. Wow, and if you hadn't told me it was a mail truck I would never have recognised it for what it is! Ours are bright red, pillar box red, in the UK. :) But not very many of them, Like Kcalpesh above, great use is made of bicycles.

  14. I assumed that USPS used official vehicles everywhere, so I was surprised that they don't.

  17. When we think of construction industry, it involves many heavy equipments like the boom trucks where it plays one of the big roles in the job. We cannot deny that they are the key player with regards to heavy jobs in the construction site. these machines also needs some replacements of parts. In short, maintenance is also vital for this kind of machines.

  18. That's funny - little mail trucks - hahaha!! I saw a mail truck on the back of a flatbed trailer the other day. It had been in an accident. When I saw it, it occurred to me that I don't think I've ever seen a mailtruck damaged like that before.

  19. @ Kirby3131 - Actually, when I thought about it, I'm surprised there aren't more accidents with these mail trucks as they are out in traffic most of the day, and often in quite dangerous situations...
