ReplyDeleteHow funny, I had the same idea today. There are a few restaurants around here that have opened back doors they have an old chair or milk crate where the cooks, preps or dish washers sit.

Btw. I got a good deal on a new computer and photoshop and they are due to arrive July 9th. Yippee! (this computer is too outdated to run the trial version, lol)

@ Lee - "Enervated"? You've got to stop using such big words 'cause I've got haul out the dictionary and then look it up and then try to figure out what it all means and then try to remember it so if you use it again I won't have to haul out the dictionary, look it up and remember it!

That seems to be a comment that has come up more than once lately so perhaps I should rethink the faster loading time vs. larger imager choice. I will be redoing my blog sometime this summer and will make the image change then. Thanks for your offer to help . . . I'll keep that in mind.

ReplyDelete#1 Chinese Food??!! Diners should never be allowed to see either the kitchen or the back door to the establishment. Scary stuff. (I lived behind a hillside restauarnt once on the Hudson and could see pots being stirred on the floor. It disturbed me for some reason. Still ate their giant shrimp served at the bar. They were never stirred.)

Hmmm, same here. Just hope that everything is well cooked and that the spices will do the trick. Your shot is perfect in that it captures what seems to be an universal thing.

ReplyDeleteIs that a Mexican man working in a Chinese resto? Isn't it strange that these two types of cuisine always seem to be owned and operated by people of that origin? I always thought it was funny that Mexican restos in France were run by white people - and considered gourmet!
