No, Ocala is not a suburb of Honolulu. I found these delightful characters in a Pier 1 store and thought they might brighten the beginning of your weekend.
Aloha. That reminds me, I used to go to Pier one all time but suddenly stoped about 20yrs ago. There's one down the street I think I'll check it out. Those welcome charactors are great.
In Ocala? They are wonderful and a great find so far from their homeland. (I do hope you gave at least one of them a new home with you guys? Both of them?)
Cool - suddenly I'm craving a fruity drink out of a coconut with a little umbrella!
ReplyDeleteNicely done decoratives. They can sure give your weekend a bright start with their big bright smile.... Nice capture with really nice colors....
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed brightening the beginning of my holiday! Have a wonderful weekend and "see" you
ReplyDeleteI don't know exactly what happened here, the comment posted itself before I clicked... The end of course is "two weeks"!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, you really can find anything and everything at Pier 1! I'm not sure if I find those masks welcoming or scary though ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Jacob!
Scary, but cute. If they were outside a doctor's office, I'd run.
ReplyDeleteAll I could do when I saw this shot was laugh. Very good humor !
ReplyDeleteIt worked. A great way to brighten my Saturday :-)
This is one of the funniest images I have seen around. Very good shot, great colors and composition.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot Jacob! I would not have been able to refrain from taking a picture of these two characters either.
ReplyDeleteAloha Jacob and Lois Anne! After many years of marriage you HAVE started to look alike!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the big smiles!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a warm welcome! (: I like these guys.
ReplyDelete@ Ciel - Vaya con dios. Wait, that's Spanish. Oh, well, it works! Have a great time!!!
ReplyDeleteHow nice! :-)

ReplyDeleteThey are funny and colourful:)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Later, brah! hehehe
ReplyDeleteHow cool these are! This is the kind of decor I appreciate in someone else's home or in a place like Pier 1. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree, EG - that's why we left them at Pier 1...actually, if I had a beach condo, I might put them up there...
ReplyDeleteVery tropical, and nice colours. I like this post!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me smile :) I like Hawaii, not because I've been there but I like LILO & Stitch .. it is cute one you must like it.
