Notice the jackets. This shot was taken in the spring when it was still cool in the mornings. The setting is the Marjorie Carr Harris Cross Florida Greenway about 4 miles from our home.
93° was the temperature in our bedroom 2 days ago! This is a lovely place for a walk. The luscious green is a feast for the eyes! Have a great Sunday, don't work too hard!
Ciel and all: There's a back story here. This couple arrived in separate cars; walked around one of the mile and a half loops; then back to the parking lot; got in their separate cars and left.
You would post a shot of folks strolling with jackets on. How cruel as we shed our clothes to combat July's heat and humidity. You knew you'd kill us Floridians with such a quiet and serene view of a walk on a cool day. It looks delightful (I can almost feel the breeze.)
Walking is good! What's in a name? We had a dog name after the visit of Haley's commet, sadly he got ?diabetes and treatment was too costly, our grief was deep, I think it brings out grief that lay dormant. BTW there is subterfuge, Julia is only a pen name.
You are really showing Ocala to be a beautiful place. This looks like and amazing place to go for a walk..... as long as there are no pesky alligators in there. Another great photo Jacob.
@ Dan - This is part of the Cross Florida Greenway - we have a 6-mile loop through various types of vegetation with a number of modest hills...it is a great place to walk, bike, roller blade, or run.
idyllic
ReplyDeleteI especially like the lighting and shadows in this one.

Looks like it would be a cool place to walk most any time of year with all the plants and trees.
