Oh yeah!! dad gum horses!! I just this summer replaced the whole back fence--it looked sorta like the one pictured. It was a wood fence but had horse wire and was taller but they still do a number on it. Some horses are worse or better than others.
As for Polo--it might be fun to try. the playing field is so huge that where-ever one would sit your couldn't see all the action. To control your horse and swing that stick to hit a little ball would be hard to master. They wear leg guards from the foot to above the knees.
Beautiful animals. The neck on the horse that is eating is wonderfully emphasised by her having to stretch over the fence. Will show this to Yasmin later - she adores horses!
