Lois Anne loves to run on the Marjorie Carr Harris Cross Florida Greenway, a six-mile, paved loop through three different terrains - a mostly grassy area; an area of rolling hills and pine trees; and a forest with relatively steep hills.
I call this Lois in motion. And I think she does well for a young lady who's been married to me for over 52 years!
That makes me dizzy. I looks cool but some how it makes me dizzy. That is strange. lol
ReplyDeletebel effet, cela rend vraiment très bien. Bravo pour la photo et pour la marathonienne
ReplyDeletenice effect, it makes it really well. Bravo for the photo and for the marathoner
Fabulous shot of a more fabulous woman! She is an inspiration. I'm getting to get my somewhat overweight rear our on the road.
ReplyDeleteI dont know you that well but I am inclined to agree :) Nice pic!
ReplyDeleteMan! Look at her go. You must have had to run pretty fast yourself to catch up with a pretty lady like that Jacob.
ReplyDeleteShe does much better of many people I know, obviously myself included. Very good shoot, I suppose from your bike...
ReplyDeleteShe is lookin' gooood!! How come you married a 5 yr. old. Cradle robber. LOL. Lois anne you are mahvelous. MB
ReplyDeleteWow, she looks great and the photo "renders" the speed and the movement very well. I used to run too. I stopped running two or three years ago due to problems in my vertebral column but I still exercise a lot :-))) I "speedfast," I ride my bike, and I swim whenever I can.
ReplyDeletetoo fast for my eyes
ReplyDeleteThis kind of shot is difficult. I like the way you caught her feet hovering above ground.
ReplyDeleteReally commedable! I really liked the motion blur you've given to the picture! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteZippy photo of Lois Anne! She's a young lady indeed! Very patient, too, I suppose.
ReplyDelete: - )
Nice photo of your "girlfriend," Jacob!
@ Leif - She's been my girlfriend for many, many years!
ReplyDelete@ VP - Yup...but I stopped the bike first...
@ All - Thank you very much!
Love the action blur and my goodness! Lois looks like a 30-year-old! Amazing! Almost makes me want to take up jogging!
ReplyDeleteShe looks great but the background keeps moving
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of the best composed shots I have seen in a while. The motion bur is fantastic and the way you captured her is really well done. I struggle with these types of shots and have never had one turn out like this. Truly exceptional.
ReplyDeleteOh and no wonder you are so happy all the time. ;-)
Oh wow Jacob, that is a fabulous shot! It makes me feel like a slug though. I need to get out and at least start walking again, but the heat is so bad this time of year!
ReplyDeleteNow Jacob, is she running from you or to you? I used to jog every day when I had knees.
ReplyDeleteNice shot -- I love the motion!
ReplyDeleteLois Anne looks like a natural born athlete . . . wow she is an inspiration and a great looking lady. she should have the moniker "slim", not me. I really like how you celebrate Lois Anne; that makes my heart smile ;))
ReplyDeleteOoops! I clicked too soon. The second part of my comment is that this is a fabulous picture, Jacob. How did you make the background blurry . . . panning? Did you have to take many to get this one?
ReplyDeleteVery cool! The shot, and the fact that you've been married that long. She surely was a child bride! :)
ReplyDeleteJacob, excellent photo and tribute to your lovely partner in life. Thanks for all of your comments on my site while we were away on the solar eclipse tour. We appreciate your words. I am enjoying catching up on everyone's photos. I love your photos and you have quite a variety. it will take me a few days to catch up at work and on all of your photos. Your technique and commitment to so many wonderful photos and sites is amazing and appreciated. We also finally got our travel website officially launched so it is now open at www.vivalavoyage.com or it can be accessed through the link on my website. I hope things are well. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteClearly she married you when she was 2 ... ;-D
ReplyDelete@ Slim - You know, I can't remember exactly...it isn't hard, though...it's a Photoshop procedure that uses the blur filter...I can look it up if you wish?
ReplyDeleteAh, come on Jacob, round up! Make it 53! Congrats on the marriage and on the fabulous photography!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can all meet up and celebrate with you at the morel mushroom festival in FL next May! Lois can lead the triathlon: run, pick mushrooms, ride bike around mushroom-laced, obstacle course. Portabello mushroom sandwiches for all who finish! Meanwhile, you can photograph all!
Great shot and great-looking lady! I just wish you wouldn't lie about how long you've been together. You must be lying because she looks so youngish.
ReplyDeleteThis photo sures beats a sunset, rocking chair or a golf bag full of fuzzy covers. You captured the real light in your life. 52 years??!! That is a great acomplishment. And it appears she still runs circles around you.
ReplyDeleteHello Lois Anne! I would fall to the ground after about 2 1/2 minutes trying to follow you! This is a fantastic shot, I love the movement!
ReplyDeleteI agree that she does look mighty good! Way younger than what she must be. Lucky you have chosen so wisely when you were but a youngster.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo! Such a neat effect.
ReplyDeleteYou've still got 50 years of marriage on me. :) I hope to catch up one day.
Great!
ReplyDeleteWow, a whole post dedicated to your wife! This photo is fabulous! This must be sweet real love!
ReplyDeleteNow that's well done. I've many times tried to photograph runners in action, and it's difficult. You panned it just perfect.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you guys are trying to stay fit. Lois Anne is such a good example of trying to stay yooung. Sorry I missed your last posts. I've been away for a couple of days and it will be hit and miss for a few more days. Thanks for your kindness.
ReplyDeleteWish I will look this good at her age! LA looks terrific!
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, Lois Anne! Must be all that running away from you that keeps her in such great shape :-) LOL -- seriously, though -- cool shot & congrats on a long and strong relationship.
ReplyDeleteKeep on running Lois! Nice effect for this shot!
ReplyDeleteWoW Jacob, how'd you do that? that's so cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo. I've been missing your Ocala blog posts for awhile, as I visit various others of yours, enjoying them all. I'm glad I caught this one. Not only is the photo nice, but it's fun to see a wonderful woman doing what she loves! All my best to both of you! You're both inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great action photo!! Now I feel lazy. I've been meaning to get out and run all summer. :(
