Off The Top Barber Shop

Off The Top Barber Shop has been in business in east Ocala for 32 years. Bill (in red) has worked at the shop for 25 years; Joel (in purple) for almost as long; and Marty (in black) has also been there for 25 years.

I took a photo of Marty inside at her chair, but unfortunately, it did not turn out. Next time, Marty.

  1. Interesting. I went by the barber's shop who used to cut my father's hair when I was young. I'm talking 40+ years ago. He hasn't retired. He had all his equipment sitting outside while several men were installing new wood flooring. Seems he plans on being there a while longer. I applaud these three for being so loyal to there customers for so long.

  2. reportage original sur ton coiffeur. Il reste peu de "barber shop" en France, c'est souvent maintenant des franchises de grandes marques.

Reporting on your original hairdresser. It left many "barber shop" in France, it is often now franchises brands

  3. Very nice group of people, my favorite is the one with Bill at work. I have to check my former barber: he's practically an Al Pacino look alike.

  19. Barbers never retire. They might ride away in the sunset but they never retire. (Which reminds me, I ought to go see mine tomorrow.)
