In Ocala, we have the usual blah mailboxes, we have some funky mailboxes (but not as funky as Fort Lauderdale) and we have elegant mailboxes, like this one! If I had taken a better picture, you would see that the brick of the mailbox matches the brick on the house.

Our thanks goes to Sashindoubutsu at Snapping Panda for this wonderful Best Blog Award. We are honored and grateful. Please visit Sashindoubutsu and her beautiful blog here.
Our mailbox is just a slot in our front door.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's very cool! It almost looks like a mobius strip! Super!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work that went into creating this piece of art, that surely took a lot of time & effort.
ReplyDeleteI've looked in Paint Shop Pro for the Smart Blur, but I couldn't find it. I used color filters all the time, so I know where that is. The only thing close is the 'Enhance Photo' button & once clicked there's Smart Photo Fix & a few other options, but no Smart Blur. There's the Gaussian Blur option & Digital Camera Noise Removal. I'll keep looking & I'll ask my brother too if he knows about it. Thanks so much, Jacob - I appreciate your help!
Very cool. Especially the arch. That must have been fun to build.
ReplyDeletethat is a very cool mailbox design! fancy brickwork!
ReplyDeleteWow that is a dandy mailbox holder. I like the brick work. MB
ReplyDeleteWow. And I thought at first that it was a sculpture.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations again on your new award. You know that I completely agree that your blogS deserve it!
In past times they have been building something like that, but not so creatively twisted, only for images of Saints and Madonnas! Wonderful catch of a great mailbox.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been damn tricky to build this! It's a piece of art!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

A shrine of a mailbox!
ReplyDeleteHere's a whole new spin on 'golden arches'.
ReplyDeleteSomebody had a LITTLE too much brick left over!!

One of the more unique settings for a mailbox that I have seen. VEry interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat is one fancy mailbox! That's one way to use up the left over brick.
ReplyDeleteWow. They put some work into that. I passed one today that had a mailbox mounted on the front of a rusty old tractor. People are so funny.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award.
That is awesome, I've never seen anything like it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award, you deserve it.
Looks like someone was trying to make a mobius strip out of bricks!

ReplyDeleteWow, they put a lot into that! Congrats on the award!
ReplyDeleteInteresting and artistic! I bet they never have problems with giving to directions to their home!
ReplyDeleteHey! You're just collecting awards left and right!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
How's the new grandson and his mom doing?
Thanks Louis! They are doing just fine from what we hear. He's the "perfect" baby, sleeping and eating!
ReplyDeleteThat is one seriously artistic letterbos. It looks like a sculpture. Much better than mine - all I have is a plain old metal thing which doesn't lock and collects rain!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award - it is well deserved.
