    Very nice Jacob. I can't stand it when you go to a restaurant and you get plastic flowers. Now I'm wondering what was on the menu.

    The flowers look real - are they real? Much nicer than articifial silk ones.
    To answer your question, Dominic's hands healed a lot faster than his knee. His knee took the brunt of the accident.

    That's a nice way to focus attention and from a great grand pa as well. I never get to look at photo editing software, yet, not that I could'nt do with it! Touche, we have a grandchild due at Christmas, it will be special!

    Beautifully composed and framed. Is the tea sweetened or unsweetened? After all these years, I am still not used to a waiter/waitress asking me.

    My favorite - Peruvian Lilies (Alstroemeria). Alas, they do not grow in Michigan, but they are so beautiful in gardens where they do grow. Thanks for the picture.

    Gorgeous flowers. You are lucky to be in a place where beautiful plant life can be so plentiful year round. There are a lot of things I love about the upper midwest...... but you would be hard pressed to go anywhere around here and see fresh cut flowers on the table.

    @ Small City Scenes - Yes, we're fine. Just worn out and have had no time! We're in process of selling our house and moving ... plus other "social" commitments and I haven't had time to do anything else!

    Jacob - I figured you got as swamped as many of us do with family, holidays and life's interruptions. Moving? Condo? Ocala? (Or did you buy right on the Gulf in Cedar Key?)

    Your absence leaves a hole in our online world and we can't not notice that Jacob's missing.

    I hope everything goes smoothly; it's a tough time of year to be moving. (We are having major structural work performed -unexpected repair- in our 80 year old house and Christmas is kind of on hold.)

    @ Frank - You are too kind, my friend! But my little heart jumped a bit when I read your words!

    Yes, I'm just swamped. We're selling and moving to Stone Creek! A villa! Downsizing! I've even bought a golf cart! Can you believe? But there is so much to do ... and so little time! We're closing on the 21st and moving on the 22nd. Then driving to Fort Lauderdale on Christmas day!

    Sorry about your unexpected repair! Those things never, ever happen at the proper time! I guess, though, with an 80-year old house, it is to be expected. That's even older than I am!

    Hope all goes well with you.

    I'm trying to play a bit of catch-up this afternoon until we have to take off for a meeting/dinner in The Villages.
