  1. Looks like a classy but possibly somewhat casual joint. Very nice. :-D

    How's the food?

  2. @ Mary - Yes, it's casual. Remember, we're a bunch of old Florida folks who long ago left off getting dressed up for anything other than weddings and funerals.

    The food is excellent!

    looks lovely!

  4. Why don't you invite Steffe, Vogen Poet, Hilda, Kate, Blossom Flower Girl and me for lunch there? We could have a little CDP blogger get together! (And I wouldn't mind telling the waitress to put it on YOUR tab!)

  5. The green grass would indicate pics taken before this horrible cold weather we've been having lately. You always have great images! tom

  6. This looks like a comfortable, relaxing place to be - but «Louis» warns anyone sitting there enjoying their beverage to be prepared to duck if Jacob is on the golf course...A golf ball could come flying through the window...

«Louis» knows the rumor about Jacob's wild golf swings is true because «Louis» started it himself...

  7. Oh I love that rock fireplace, but surely it's not used... in Florida? LoL!

  8. Des couleurs très chaudes. Ce lieu est bien sympathique !

  14. I like Leif's proposal, but the comment of Louis is quite worrying. You have to stay inside with us, Jacob!

  15. I hope many wonderful meals are shared by you and those you love in this cozy dining room. It looks so relaxing, so comfortable. I would love to join Leif's proposed lunch bunch if there's still room at the table.

  16. Have you tried it yet? Looks like it has a nice ambiance at the very least!

  17. Well, now that it has warmed up to 35 degrees in Michigan I guess I don't need to go to Florida anymore. But it still looks like an appealing "hangout" (why are there pumpkins?)

  19. Dear Jacob,
This place is so charming and elegant!
I loved all pictures but that second shot is brilliant, I liked a lot about the decoration ( très chic ).

  20. It looks like a cozy place to relax with friends. A bit more upscale than the place I posted today.

  21. What a great looking place! You have everything you need so close by that you probably never have to leave your neighborhood, except maybe to get some blog pictures once in awhile.

  22. @ Three Rivers - This was taken back in November when we first came to Stone Creek to look at what it had to offer.

  23. The food and service at your grille is excellent..many OTOW people eat there regularly. We have had dinner ther twice and were pleased. Our food at OTOW is below terrible. We never eat here after trying for too many times.

  24. @ All - My good friend, Bob Poris, mentioned OTOW...that is an acronym for On Top of the World, another 55 plus community just south of Stone Creek.

  25. @ Brattcat - Okay! There's lots of room. Just tell when y'all are coming and I'll make the reservations!

  26. @ VP - You must remember about Louis...he's mad! And most of what he says has nothing to do with reality...well, I take that back as I've been known to put a golf ball through a window now and then.

But I think the Grille is far enough away from danger and furthermore, I'd be with you in order to pay the bill which Safe Leif has obviously already arranged.

  27. @ Tom B - Thanks for the kind comment. And you're absolutely right - these were taken back in November. The grass has been bit by frost now!

I'll give you a buzz in a couple of weeks! The end is in sight!

  28. It looks like the perfect place for you folks. I didn't hear whether you play tennis? As to the restaurant, order me up a Cobb salad right now and a lemonade. I could use something other than rice.

  29. Wonderful ... a game of tennis, a swim in the pool and an excellent dinner!

  30. It looks very nice. I would love to visit that bar sometime, do they serve food to go with a good Martini?

  31. @ Uncertainhorizon and all - We ate there tonight...they had an Italian buffet where you choose the items you desired and they were sauteed in front of you...it was absolutely delicious!

  32. Wow, what a neat place here Jacob...must be expensive?
