Morgan & Simon at HITS

I believe Simon is a Houdini Llewellen Setter. Morgan told us he also works as a therapy dog.

  1. Is Simon driving the golf cart? I can see the steering wheel in one shot, and it looks like he is.

  6. What a beautiful dog. Interesting, I showed the photos to Krise and tried to get her to guess the breed. (She knows more dog breeds by name than anyone I know.) She wasn't familiar with this one, even after I read the name.

  15. He is truly one magnificent animal. I am surprised at his collar which can be pulled and pinches the daylights out of his neck.

He has a regular collar on so the pinch collar she must use just in case he gets an urge to take off in public.

  26. Jacob, I'm sure you're right with your ID of Houdini Llewellen Setter ... Because I had no idea that specific breed existed, I put him visually into the springer spaniel family. But ... I am no authority and that's a fact -:)

  27. Awwww, they're a pair! Are they related to you? They're both good lookin' so I'm sure they are.

  28. Nice portraits of a fine smiling dog!
I had to look it up, but it's true, someone has created (or re-created) the Llewellin Setter from the English Setter. Houdini is the kennel name.
