  2. I loved it when I shot a similar one and when I see this one shot by you... I love it too... Nicely composed and equally nicely titled!

  3. It looks like you're not getting that heavy East Coast rain today. I heard that Florida, too, was on stormwatch. This is a delightful sight against the blue with clouds. I think we're all ready for blue skies and nice weather this year.

  5. Is that the "Naked Tree" species native to Florida?

  6. I like the composition of the granches against the clouds and sky. I wonder about the shape of the tree. I looks like someone climbed it with a chain saw and hacked off all of the branches. I would be in favor of letting it grow out to is full leafiness, and thereby cover up the view of some of the shopping mall, which are rarely asthetic, as least from the parking lot.

  7. I like the thought that there are blue skies somewhere. We're supposed to have one heck of a storm here tomorrow.

  8. Crape Myrtles are such beautiful trees... I never understand why we insist on stunting their growth and making them bushes... great photo by the way...

  9. You have got to take another photo of this tree when it grows back!

  11. Don't know if this tree will exactly bloom - sad little brave thing.

Now you don't really have seasons in Florida - warm and hot maybe. How do you know it's spring?

  12. At first I was 'stumped,' but I think this is a sycamore, no?

  13. Poor tree---pruned to death. And yet.......MB

  14. I wonder if that tree will ever bloom again...

  15. It is appealing to the heavens for life!

  16. Are you sure? It doesn't look like it'll ever green again...

  17. The sky is gorgeous.... but I do not get the tree. I am assuming it is something more indigenous to the area.... but that to me would be a dead tree.... or one you would see monkeys swinging from at the zoo....

  19. When I look at it, my eyes are swept up to the top of the image, in other words to the sky -- nice shot.

  20. What a lovely composition, and the sky doing its naturalness, by evoking dreams of spring.

  21. I think bare branches are elegant. But I thought it was already spring in Ocala!

  22. I wonder if it would make nice wood flooring?
