My first impression was the same of MB, then I realized this is an almost perfect reflection. I like how the pattern of the red bricks is slightly skewed by the glass panels. An excellent image, Jacob!
That's a very cool reflection. I like all those dividers created by the...hmmmm, what do you call those horizontal and vertical pieces that hold in the panes? I like this one a lot, Jacob!
Funny, I was just thinking the other day, I wonder how many older buildings you could find in Ocala. Here's part of the answer, and a very nice pic. I'd love to see a street scene of downtown, or maybe it's here somewhere.
Terrific reflection, as if the building reflected lacked confidence.
ReplyDeleteReflections force us to look at things from an angle normally not allowed, to see things from a perspective not thought of before.
ReplyDeleteReally nice. I wouldn't have realized it was a reflection without your title. Gray skies in Ocala? Guess it happens to all of us. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture of reflection and geometrics.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are looking through a window not seeing a reflection. Very good. MB
ReplyDeletewow really nice capture! well done!

ReplyDeleteAn excellent image, Jacob!
Very good! You've broken my stereotype of Florida; I always think of this state as having only more recent buildings!
ReplyDeleteI like the old reflected in the new.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing reflection; at first, I thought it was another building.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot!
ReplyDeleteOf course, James is going to ask why you didn't save it for his Weekend Reflections. :)
Very nicely done. It causes me to stop and 'reflect.'
ReplyDeleteThere is a cool contrast here between two periods of time. It makes for a very interesting capture.
ReplyDeleteVery nice reflection. The only thing missing is a blue sky. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a reflection! Didn't realize it was one till I read your title.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, but with the grey sky and brick building looks more like a northern city than like Florida!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as one who has been overly acquainted with grey skies, I'm hunting for sunshine.
:-)
A nice geometric image for today.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brattcat it gives the brick building some power.
Wow! Great shot Jacob! I wish my windows were that clean.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection of that lovely brick wall.
ReplyDeleteLove it, my favorite photos are reflectives
ReplyDeleteLove BC's comment and the dark side of Ocala.
ReplyDeleteThis shot must have been amazingly hard to take. Good job.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot Jacob! Such a clear reflection too.
