oh boy, what a cool shot!I think this cute cat is thinking about Luna!:) This picture is amazing, that kitty is a beautiful detail, and I also love the flag! Hugs Léia
A fun shot. Years ago I had a cat for a pet that sat in the window much like this one. Chirping and howling he would beg to go outside and catch creatures of the wild. They get a little crazy this time of year.
My cats are always in the windows like that, too - but mine can't go out, cuz they've been declawed, so they wouldn't be able to fight - but my furniture thanks me! Heheheee
It looks like our Bubbie! Handsome in other words.
ReplyDeleteAmericana at it's best. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this cat will climb on the dream coach and get his wish.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a very well fed cat, maybe he's eyeing a spot for a nap. :)
ReplyDeleteLike bfarr said, it has a real Americana feel enhanced by the misty-memory edges. Nice
Wow.... That is a wonderous shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteThe cat is standing at attention to the flag, perhaps?
ReplyDeletelooks as if somebody is trying to beat with the flag
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful shot indeed.
ReplyDeleteHe's just flown in from France and is on strike.
ReplyDeletebelle composition de ce chat devant le drapeau US
ReplyDeleteLOL, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love the shadows of the flagpole.
This is such a lovely and nostalgic photo.
That's one big kitty. If I were a rat or mouse, I'd keep my eyes wide open.
ReplyDeleteThat cat is too fat to be rodent catching - but like everyone else, he can dream.

They just tease him with the window open with a screen. I do that to my cats.

ReplyDeleteI guess it's good that there aren't rodents indoors!
ReplyDeleteThe technique on this photo turns it into something very special. Like memories of long ago.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice shot Jacob! That cat looks a lot like mine.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shot !!Dear Jacob waiting for your comments !!
ReplyDeleteA funny shot, not sure the cat is interested in any further physical activity...
ReplyDeleteHe or she looks as if they've had a lot to eat ...
ReplyDeleteOur new boy, Jack, loves looking out the window...
Yes, let the kitty out. :) Don't you wonder what cats are thinking when they sit in windows?
