Florida Terrorist Hunting Permit

Braggadocio is big in Florida, as evidenced by the numerous "brave" bumper stickers. I figure this person would probably melt into a puddle if ever confronted by a terrorist. Otherwise, he or she would be fighting in Afghanistan or serving in Iraq.

We're going to be on a hiatus for a period of time. Blogging and commenting will be sporadic. We'll be back, but meanwhile, our very best to all of our CDP blogger friends.

  1. This just gives me the creeps, Jacob, though it's quite a good photograph.

  16. It's the thought that counts. As long as he is support the genuine troops doing the work and not being a vigilante.

  20. I do not find this funny at all. We don't need more intolerance in this world.

I sure hope you'll be gone because you're going on a vacation! Be good, be safe and have fun! ;)

  21. We seem to have become a nation of people willing to hold our coat if we are willing to fight for them.

  24. I agree 100%! But perhaps the car owner thought it was funny, and didn't really mean any of it.

Sorry I haven't visited sooner. But many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!

  25. A truly unique sticker... Though you are probably right about the reaction of the person on coming face to face with a real terrorist...

  26. Heehee Jacob, you just committed hit and run! :)

  27. I hope you are having a great vacation time! Bizarre bumper sticker :-)

  28. They wouldn't know a terrorist if he bit them in the ass. Now just how many terrorists have struck America since 9/11? Wall St and banks are doing far worse things to Americans than so-called terrorists.

  29. I know when just after 9/11, as a then serving National Guard soldier, 11B/Infantry, and expressed an idea to a buddy in Florida. Based on local hunting permits as well as gag ones, such as "Tourist Hunting Permits". We talked about the idea, and she sent me some examples and . It expressed the frutration of the nation at that moment in time. Me, just glad I did not have to go in the end, but will miss my kids on the local Fort/Base who are deployed.

I wonder if Lola is still around?

  30. Anyone hear of the supposed Gas Out, to not go to the gas pumps on 15 April,
to protest the rise in gas prices? Such as from $3.50/gal to over $4.00/gal
    in less than 3 months?
