Count on Americans to come up with ways to make "work" effortless. Quite a contrast to the "stick men" in China! (If you're curious, photo here: http://www.economist.com/node/16058750?story_id=16058750) :-)
[Jacob, sorry, I didn't realize, or had forgotten, that The Economist blocks non-subscribers. I guess I must be signed in automatically when I go there. I wanted to show you a photo of a man carrying big boxes tied to ropes on a bamboo stick he carries across his shoulders, much like the coolies in days of old. there are a lot of migrants from the countryside who go to the cities to do that for a living. Hard work.
I take it you are not the cook in the family. I bet Lois Anne knows canola oil. :-)
And finally, you are clearly not a child of the 60s... that is marijuana in my photo next to the flowering rapeseed.
You don't need to post any of this, Jacob. I enjoy reading your comments on my blog and others'... I either smile broadly or laugh out loud. So, you too are a funny person. Thanks for that!]
Nice one! Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteAh, I knew you wouldn't be able to stay away from the mall for long! He doesn't seem too keen on his job though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he's checking to see if anyone's watching. I think you may have witnessed an elaborate summer fashion heist in progress.

ReplyDeleteA curious image of the 'at work' kind.
ReplyDeleteHe seems in need of what he is pushing.

ReplyDeleteSheesh! MB said what I was gonna say! I am NOT a shopper so the main attraction here would be the A/C. :)

He would fit right in with the schleppers on 36 St right in the heart of the Garment District
ReplyDeleteHe may not look very much motivated but I don't think his job is really "rewarding." :-))) Thank you for your nice comments on my blog.

ReplyDeleteNice job, among clothes! I like it....
ReplyDeleteYou know what I like best about this shot? That someone (you) wanted to capture it.
