Art Meadows Jewelry is a small old-fashioned jewelry store. The operators are very nice, give you lots of personal attention and also handle things like watch repair and battery replacement.
We visited Art Meadows Jewelry a short time ago to have a watch repaired. Off to one side sat this piece of sculpture. I'd never seen it before. Very strange. I wonder if it is a "famous" piece.
Interesting sculpture.
ReplyDeleteWe have several small family owned jewelry stores in Columbus/Phenix City. You can definitely find family friendly prices.
Doesn't the truck inside the store get in the way?
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... very interesting sculpture.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the poem! Although I'm still digesting its true meaning. ;-)
I like this sculpture very much, and also like how you blurred part of the photo.
ReplyDeleteYou could ask but they seem very busy.
ReplyDeletethere was a man from Ocala
he couldn't write but he could holla
He made me cry
I don't know why
But I wouldn't give him a dolla!!!
Maybe this sculpture is supposed to put people in the mood to spend more money on jewelry.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to find places where they actually still REPAIR.
ReplyDeleteThe sculpture is a gorgeous love scene I think. Especially if that's meant to be a rough man with baby.
There are beautiful reflections in your first shot and I LOVE the second one with effects and the modern sculpture is fabulous!Very interesting gallery/ store, I would like to visit there!
ReplyDeleteLéia
It looks like something by Bourdelle, but a bit different.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather be with the koi a few days back. Seems like you've been on the go!. Did you buy a diamond while you waiting for the watchrepair?
ReplyDeleteWell, now that the sculpture is on your blog it's famous. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think they're about to kiss and tell.
ReplyDeleteLooks like one of those abstract pieces.
ReplyDeleteLook... you got your own poem Jacob!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately poetry is not my strong suit, but I am working on it.
The truck in the store is probably getting its battery replaced, too. This business is really full-service.
ReplyDeleteAbstract .. reminds me of The Kiss .. perhaps its lesser known companion piece The Shrug?
ReplyDeleteThat sculpture made me remember "The kiss" of Klimt.
