I'm not sure why I took this photo...there are a number of these little shops in strip malls in Ocala. But I think the reason had to do with the name, "Joahn." I've never known anyone named "Joahn." Joan, JoAnn, Joanne, JoAnne are all names that I've seen. "Joahn" did catch my attention, though.

ReplyDeleteActually, at first I read "Johan". I'm not so fond of names that are odd spellings...but then, some people are, so...!
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't know any better, I might say the owner is Filipino. Filipinos love to insert 'h' in names that don't usually have an h :-)

ReplyDeleteWhich reminds me of a little spelling problem someone had with my name. Here, Gilda is also pronounced Hilda, rather than with a hard G. I was dictating over the phone, so I said "Hilda with an H." The document came to me with my name spelled HILDAH. Hahahahaha!
