Nice effect, Jacob. I write a holiday letter, two-columns and two sides, with text on the left and The Year in Pictures on the right. I get them printed on nice linen paper at a copy shop. In the past we folded them and inserted them inside cards, but this year we skipped the card and mailed the letters alone.
Regarding the Parrot. I learned that this type--according to the owner--is a very quiet type. which is why they bought this one. It is not like the cockatoos and others. And it seems to be true. Although this is only the second time I have seen her and she could have been awed by my presence. She did say HELLO though. MB

Yep, I still send cards and I like receiving them too! I hang them all on the door. I don't seem to be getting as many this year yet. But then I haven't sent mine out yet either.
Yes, I still send cards. Some things cannot be done properly through email.
