I have seen other painted animals like this. In West Hartford, there have been a couple of fund-raising events organized around painting cows. Was this one part of an Ocala fund-raiser?

But to your post today, I was very surprised on my first trip to FL years ago the number of horse farms. I love these painted horses and really enjoy when you post them.

Re your comments on the Boca Resort: Yes, I have stayed there. The hotel is now part of the Hilton group and we used some of our "points" for a weekend stay. However, our room was in the older section of the hotel which has not been fully rennovated. The windows and bathrooms were old, there were ants in the room... so not all it's cracked up to be. But it still is a nice old-style resort.

We have giraffes in our town, or did, and for the life of me I cannot remember the story behind them.
