Super Moon

I caught the moon just as it was coming up above the trees. We had a lot of smoke in the air so it was very orange.

As it got higher, the color began to change.

Here it is, climbing higher and higher.

  1. These are wonderful captures of the super moon. Our sky is overcast so I have had a chance to see this. Terrific shots and all so different!

  2. What a great sequence, Jacob! I didn't realize the color changes the moon undergoes on a single night.

  3. Me again.
Was it really that color? I think the trees get in the way here so by the time I see it it is up high.
You did good. I suppose you have a tripod and 77 extra thingamajigs attached to your camera. Yeah, I knew it. MB

  14. Darn! How did you do it?? You must have a bigger zoom than I do.

My shots just look like someone shined a flashlight into the camera. :(
