The road best not taken

Please note that the following blogs have been closed and deleted: Cedar Key Daily Photo, Colorado in Color, Florida Fanfare and Paree.  In addition, The Villages Daily Photo has been closed but will remain on the Net for a period of time.

Photos of Cedar Key and The Villages will appear occasionally on Florida Fotos.

Please note also that "Images - L & L Photography" has been changed to "Images - The Art of Photography", and that "Ocala Daily Photo" has been changed to "Ocala Florida Fotos."

We no longer have the time or energy to keep so many blogs in operation. But we thank you for your continuing support over the past two years!

  1. I always wondered where you found the time for so many blogs! But I did enjoy them. :)

  3. Well change is good.

I do miss you the fact that you don't post your blogs in the evening like you used to---I think our minds work better at that time. I don't think the same in the morning.

Let's hope this works well for you. MB

  6. Consider all of that, "noted!"

I'm sad to see them go (especially Cedar Key, one of my favorites), but I certainly understand. I, too, always wondered how you covered all of that territory. My guess was that you had clones out there taking photos.

Anyway, keep up the excellent work you do here (I discovered this one through Cedar Key). Most importantly, have fun!

  8. I can understand how difficult it is. Keeping 3 blogs for me is a big pain. But I am bit sadden that you deleted the Colorado in Color blog. Sometimes it is good that you delete the picture blogs. I have noticed that few hackers comes in using Ripper browser and they completely copy your blog and takes all the pictures and direct traffic to some virus sites when they click on your image. I have found this very irritating with my pictures taken away from my sites.

    Glad you are still here.

  9. I did wonder how you were able to keep all those blogs going. I find it time consuming to just keep one. This one was my favorite though,so we're good.

  11. You are right! And the Saddest part was that when my original pictures were in page 3 of Google image search, my ripped off pictures were No.1 in the page 1 with the same keywords. I have to admit that these guys are good in what they do.

  12. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with just one blog so I understand. I will miss them though!

  13. Hey, dear Mr. Smith... Have you decided to spread panic in the blogsphere? "Jacob is shutting down all the most wonderful blogs on the Net". This could make headlines to a newspaper, don't you think? :) Now, seriously speaking, I couldn't figure out how you managed to keep up with so many blogs and I always tell my sweet Léia that blogging is supposed to be enjoyable so "take it easy"... I'm glad though to have enjoyed every post I had the opportunity to visit and will keep appreciating your wonderful photography (not to mention your precious friendship!).
    God bless you!
