The Renaissance Room is a purveyor of used furniture and home accessories. For example, if you have a sofa you wish to sell, they will pick it up, check it out, tell you what they think it will sell for at which point you can agree and leave it at the store. When it sells, the Renaissance Room takes a cut and you get the rest. If you disagree, you can take it back home.
I wondered where you got your furniture, Jacob!
ReplyDeleteThese stores are getting more and more popular each week.
ReplyDeleteI love these stores!
ReplyDeleteWhew! For a minute there I thought that you lived in a very cluttered home.
ReplyDeleteThere are some very nice pieces in there; good idea; it's sort of like consignment clothing stores.
I love to browse in places like this. And, I see a blue chair I'd pick up if I were there.
ReplyDeleteWe call them dépôt-vente and I actually enjoy browsing them...
ReplyDeleteVery interesting store, I would buy and also sell some furniture there! :)
ReplyDeleteLéia
sounds like a neat idea for a place.
ReplyDeleteLol, very interesting. It almost looks like you could decorate any room based on a decade. I want an 80's room!!!
ReplyDeleteSound like a good deal for both buyer and seller!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good way to recycle furniture.
ReplyDeleteWe have not so big...
ReplyDeleteThank You very much for Your beautiful comment!
I like the concept. I have a few old couches they can pick up. Will they come to Massachusetts?
ReplyDeleteYou can find some cool stuff in these places sometimes and I think I have some stuff to take in to sell too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments on my road trip series. The roadside pull out sign for the baby's birth was about 60 miles from Prescott and the nearest hospital. I agree with you, a bit scary.
