Jacob, I bet you are thinking of Big Surf in Tempe. Yes, it's still in business. The Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale also has a pool with a sandy beach; no waves though.
Beautiful image! Could be called a springy sky, but your way sounds better. :) (Enjoyed your recollections of the old streetcar lines on CDP yesterday. Some of Los Angeles's finer moments, to be sure.)
I can feel the breeze rustling through that grass. Yes I too remember 1968 Chicago - I was in Windsor (across the river from Detroit) watching TV during the convention and remember being so apprehensive!
Ah, it's whispering an invitation to us. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a different shot for you...with just a hint of something man-made. Beauty!
ReplyDeleteI love it when the sky is full of white puffy clouds.
ReplyDeleteLove that blue sky!

I had the same reaction as Birdman, Jacob. This shot does not bear your signature.
ReplyDeleteThe grass is so graceful, reminding me of feathers.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a week now with our smokey skies from Arizona and I miss the blue. Beautiful photo Jacob!
