Just recently, Well Fargo Bank bought out Wachovia Bank. The photo above shows our local Wells Fargo branch bank. A few days ago, we went inside this bank for the first time. It was a bummer. We saw no one we knew. All the Wachovia employees were gone. The atmosphere was drear and unhappy. While we stood and waited, the one available teller ignored us. The young man who finally helped us was nice enough, but couldn't count well and was obviously fearful of making a mistake.
Boo! Bring back Wachovia!
That is a bad situation. The effects of the bad economy.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a shame!
ReplyDeleteRotten. Sounds hopeless for you and the young man who finally helped you.
ReplyDeleteperils of takeovers?
ReplyDeletelovely capture!
Sorry to read this. In other places, Wells Fargo has a good reputation for service.
ReplyDeleteSo many people have said that once WF has taken over their city. That is why I moved to a local community bank. I have to support the little guy.
ReplyDeleteI thought Wachovia was solid as a rock. Wonder what happened.
ReplyDeleteNice image.
Some call it progress.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I always think of stage coaches when I see WF banks? hahaha Giddyup!
ReplyDeleteHi, Jacob!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me some westerns...
But, please, no banks ! Imagine, the mine is Société Générale... have you heard about recently?!...
I hope you spent great holidays.
A bientôt.
Boy that is a bummer.
ReplyDeletecustomer relations are so important. I hope the workers learn to at least smile. MB
Too funny---my word verification is 'expect' good service I expect.
Someone needs to be coached on how to serve customers, methinks.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I really like about living in a village is that the tellers know who I am.
Have you thought of changing banks? Do you have Trustmark there? I always had good experiences with them.
ReplyDeleteI see beautiful trees...
ReplyDeleteToo bad. WF is my bank, but I am often disappointed with them....may change.
