One of Ocala's restored homes in the Historic District

  1. I'm surprised because it is not what I would expect after seeing so many of your other photos. It is incredibly lovely but I don't have this kind of architecture in mind when I think of homes here. Isn't it strange what preconceived ideas we can have!

  2. This looks more like what you would expect to see in the Northeast or Midwest rather than Florida.

Nice to see such an excellent state of preservation.

  3. I used to work with a lady who quit her job to go back to college to study how to restore old homes! You can major in that, who knew?

  5. It's a great looking home. It doesn't seem like the prototypical "Florida" home to me, but that's a result of my misguided generalizations more than anything else. I'd certainly live there. It's in beautiful shape.

  8. It's very attractive and looks like something I'd expect to see in New England more than Florida!
