Church of the Springs

Church of the Springs is an independent, fundamentalist Christian group that began in 1994. From that time until just recently, the church has met in various locations (15 of them!) and has grown from 21 people to over 3,000. They preach the usual fundamentalist doctrines, which includes the notion that one must become a born-again believer in Jesus to be saved from an eternity in hell, and that the Bible is God's word and without error.

But they combine their fundamentalist foundation with modern techniques and styles of ministry which many people find attractive.

The photos are of their new church building which was in the works for many years and has now finally been completed.

If interested, you can learn more about this church here.

  1. The outside of the church is beautiful. I'm not so sure about the inside.

  2. Looks like a school building. Maybe in a way it is a school, teaching a doctrine?

  7. I find these types of churches the most scary. But the building is nice and the sky couldn't be more beautiful!

PS: My computer is not connecting w/ the MiL's new WiFi. I only have my iPhone to check blogs and such. It's not very practical. :(

  8. The building has a simple appeal to it. Beautiful? Probably not, at least to these eyes, but it does its job decently.

  12. It is probably a factory for "HAPPY CLAPPING" people, and I seriously don`t believe in these, to me, man made groups. I think they do more harm than good.

They have similar groups over here.....

  13. I'm with Sharon, it's best I don't comment. However, the composition on top is just great.
