A Horse Fever Horse...

...one of about 80 Horse Fever horses residing here and there in and about the city of Ocala...

  1. We had moose all over our city several years ago and within a couple of months practically al of them had had their antlers stolen! Horses are perfect for your part of Florida!

    The the kids were little I named our place 'Horse Fever Farm' and put it out on the mail box. Many moons ago.

    PS. I beat your daughter in horses-5 horses and 1 pony but she takes the cake on goats. LOL

  10. 80? In just Ocala? I wonder how many of the painted animal series are displayed throughout N.A.... including cows, moose, and other animals... What next? I hazily recall the contagion crossing the ocean to Europe... but now I can't remember where I saw it... hmmm.... Now I'm curious to find out the original idea behind this... :-D

  11. Thanks for the link to the article, Lowell. What I also just learned is that the original idea for the painted animals started with a Cow Parade in Switzerland in 1998 and the fund-raising idea has been used all over both EU and USA. Happy golfing!
