A Sunday afternoon at Barnes & Noble Bookstore

  1. It's good to see this. Although I'm taking part in the demise of real bookstores with my iBook reader, I love them (the stores) "to death." Maybe that's a bad phrase. . . . It's good to see people enjoying real paper. On the other hand, I love toting a whole library in such a minimal space as my iPad or phone. What is one going to do?

  5. Even though I have an e-book reader, I love to go to B&N.

  6. Although I prefer small independent bookstores which are disappearing at an alarming rate, I'm glad that B&N stores have not gone the way of Borders. Despite the convenience of e-book readers (which I have no interest in buying) I still prefer the "real" thing, and I'm increasingly using my local library. I like the sight of rows and stacks of books and like the way they smell.
