Baby, it's cold outside

The treatment of this photo expresses, more or less, the coldness that has enveloped our fair city. For those of you who live in the northland, you probably wouldn't think lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s very cold, but it is freezing to us. Tonight will be worse and then we'll be in a warming trend and back to normal by the weekend. And that's a good thing as I don't want to suffer from golf deprivation!

  1. We are experiencing a hurricane. Many trains have been stopped on the west coast. Not sure how it will effect my area. Stay warm!

  5. I know exactly what you mean about that being cold. That is very cold to us desert rats too. Fortunatly, we are having Chamber of Commerce weather that past few days. Up to 80 in the daytime. Just perfect.

  7. Lowell, you're probably right. They're in exactly the righ place. I've noticed those indentations on the outside edges of roads but not so much in the middle. Seems like a good idea :-)

Funny post here and I'm sure Chili's has never looked better. I like your colors. Those temps would be cold here, too. If you feel golf-deprived, just go listen to that song by Loudon Wainwright III (The Back Nine) and you'll be fine till the course thaws out!

  15. It was minus 15 Celsius here yesterday. I don't want to hear any complaints from you. :)
I like this treatment though. Maybe I should take a picture of my yard and try the same thing.
