On this first day of January 2012, the City Daily Photo theme is this:  Post a favorite photograph from 2011.  This photo of my golfing friend, Ray, was taken at the Golden Hills Golf Club on a beautiful winter morning and brings back many good memories.

    Ya, winter morning? ... what was it 75, creeping towards mid-80s? Don't lie. Talked to inlaws yesterday. 80s It was nice here too on 1/1/12 mid 40's. Fore!

    Nothing like a warm early morning on the tee box. The humid crisply cool air hints toward a muggy afternoon and the 19th hole.
