Great capture, Lowell! I took some photos and posted them yesterday. I actually came across a woodpecker, which I had never seen in the city thus far. I am disappointed in my photos I posted, though. Love your photos...thanks for continuing to share!

I was hoping you'd be back by now. I've just come back from another month-long hiatus, one week of which wasn't planned. My husband and went on a long road trip (I didn't have time to create scheduled posts) and when we got home a week ago, we discovered that we didn't have our land line or internet connection. Despite following up everyday (sometimes twice a day) no service crew has yet come to our house. I'm in an internet cafe in a mall right now because I'm beginning to experience internet withdrawal symptoms. :(
