Bo-Kay Florist, located near downtown Ocala, is well-known in the area for the quality of their product and their service. The only problem is they don't know how to spell "bouquet." :-)
Stop back by my blog today and you will see that a couple of commenters already guessed what I was talking about. I thought it was sweet that no one seemed to notice.
I love this. It reminds me of a store I used to work at. "Quatre pattes" is French for "four paws". The lady store owner spelled it "Kat Pat." It was a pet supply store that did not sell animals, just supplies. I loved working there. The store closed down, though, due to the economy and competition. This is a great photo, Lowell! Love your posts!
that's cute. i really like your header photo. thanks for stopping by today!
ReplyDeleteLove it! They learned to spell phonetically.
ReplyDeleteFunny guy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the owners are a couple named "Bo" and "Kay" and they couldn't decide who to name the shop after.
ReplyDeleteI like a good play on words!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if they spelled it correctly, fewer people would land on their website when googling the place.
ReplyDeleteI think it's very creative.
ReplyDeleteand they have a rather dangerous looking big cat in the window.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lowell, you are such a purist!

ReplyDeleteI see that their shop is being protected by a leopard as well. Interesting word play.
