  2. I googled lomography but not sure that I totally understand it. I'll have to translate Olivier's comment to see if that sheds more light on it for me. In any event, I like the photo!!

  3. The lomo effect works well on this photo, makes it look cool and damp...though I'm sure it's really HOT and muggy. :))

  5. Maybe Meg Ryan might be lurking about. You might share an umbrella.

  6. Oh! Along with Nicholson 'picking up the hitchhiker scene' in Five Easy Pieces ("It's just crap! Everything is crap!"), maybe my two favorite scenes in modern movies. Good Grief! Everytime I see that deli scene, my imagination runs amok. That blonde hair, on a pillow... Oh my, my, my! Now you've gone and done it. You've set my morning all off kilter. Thanks, pal.
ps You won't get away with this, you know.
pss. Do NOT mention Meg Ryan's name ever again on my blog!

  10. It looks rather refreshing. Is the Lomo effect on Photoshop CS5? If so I'll have to play a bit.

  11. Rain? The water from the sky? Really? :-) That's a subdued Lomo effect, I like it!

  13. Lomo effect? Meg Ryan? All these references - on a holiday, no less. What's it all about, Alfie?

  14. Lowell, you know how jealous he gets. Don't mention me on his blog again. Oh, and by the way, who's this Heidi Klum I keep hearing Bird talk about? Meg Ryan

  17. We got a big rain this morning. I came in to the office looking like I just stepped out of the shower (but with my clothes on). We needed it though!
