Working hard or hardly working?

I had forgotten the theme, so this is a 2nd post for today. The gentleman in question runs a kiosk in the mall. He had been wandering about as business was slow, then went and sat down. Waiting. He may still be there!

  2. He actually looks like he's wrapped up in something. Texting for instance...

  3. Oh no! I had forgotten the theme too. BTW: What is the theme.
I'd say he is snoring. MB

  4. The people who man kiosks are funny. Most just sit instead of getting up and marketing their goods to the public. I would be asleep if I were him.

  5. That has to be one of those boring jobs. I don't think I'd want to do it.

  6. Julie andI go to malls very infrequently, but we recently commented that we are seeing more vending machines selling the items that used to be sold in stores. So corporate America can sell their stuff without paying someone to sit around and be bored.

  7. I feel for him - so boring to sit and hope!

  8. Yep, boring job. I've had 'em. But one of the best antidotes is to practice three simple things: (1) Get off your butt; (2) Smile; (3) Say, "May I help you?" Works miracles.

  9. I sometimes wonder if those kiosks get any business. I've rarely seen one with customers. Guess we've got to keep people employed, if not occupied.

  10. I can sympathize with him!

  11. These are there when the mall opens and still there when it closes. Has the mall security every stopped you from taking photos? I've had few store managers tell me no photography allowed.
