I'm sure I spied a little girl wearing a red hood. And at the edge of the woods I saw what appeared to be a wolf. But when the creature turned and ran I could tell it was merely a coyote. I looked back to where I spied the little girl, but she was gone. Obviously, this was not the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
This has conjured all kinds of images for me!
ReplyDeleteThe color is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLoved the commentary!!
ReplyDeleteThere could be all kinds of things hiding in those dense woods.
ReplyDeleteI like the glow on the house. Nice piece of property.
ReplyDeleteThat must be granny's house in the distance. These are colors we are not likely to see until next spring. Just watch out for that little girl in the red cloak. She is very sly.
ReplyDeleteThat may have been a wolf in coyote clothing. I'm disturbed that the little girl in the red hood is missing.
ReplyDeleteYour story is perfect for the scene!
ReplyDeleteYour imagination is running wild, dear Lowell... :-)
ReplyDeleteAh, my favorite childhood story!
ReplyDeleteI like the story. "Merely a coyote" is OK in my book. As much as I've lived in or near their territory, I've rarely ever seen one.
ReplyDeleteIf I squint, I can see her. As always, I love the effects you create with your photos!
ReplyDeleteCute story :) I love the photo... makes a good postcard or a puzzle picture :)
