From what I understand, the use of limos and other extravagances for teen activities such as high school proms has gotten quite out of hand. With peer pressure so intense at that age, it creates pressure for those who cannot afford it.
I agree with Dave on this. My 16th birthday came and went and no one remembered it was my birthday until about a week later. (that's because it's on Christmas day)Gosh, that was a long time ago!
This limo might be ostentatious, but is a safe way for a teenager to get to and from a prom. Since it might be a once in a lifetime event, so what if it is extravagant.
Cars of this brand are outstanding. I know the military, was also with us to see. But this kind of Hummer brand I have not seen. After all, it's a small bus. Beautiful, but the fuel consumption is much less nice. It would be a pleasure for me to drive this car. Regards, Peter.
Oh, what a car! Je ne serais pas du tout capable de conduire un tel "monstre" dans les rues de Montpellier... Maybe a sort of schoolbus ?...Have a good weekend!
They really are lucky to get a chance to ride a limo for the first time, even though they just sixteen years old. Well, at least they experience riding one at an early age. It would certainly be a good day for them to go around the town and just see people look at them in amazement.
j'aimerais pas avoir a faire un creneau ;))
ReplyDeleteI bet she's happy.

ReplyDeleteFun way to arrive to a party!
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a Hummer limo...they look very cool.
ReplyDeleteA Humvee limo ride for a 16-year-old? My how times have changed!
ReplyDeleteA bit ostentatious, don't you think? ;))
ReplyDeleteDoes the vanity plate read: "SPOILED ROTTEN"?

ReplyDeleteGood grief. I'd prefer a bicycle ride!
ReplyDeleteThat's the classy way to do it, I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteBoy have times changed!

ReplyDeleteWow!!! I want to be sixteen.
ReplyDeleteI completely echo Birdman's comment!
ReplyDeleteThat's some limo! All it's missing is a hot tub on the back.
ReplyDeleteThat's some pricey ride.
ReplyDeleteWow!! How do you know its for a 16year old?
ReplyDeleteSheesh. What does the poor girl have to look forward to?
ReplyDeleteNot a very attractive limo...too boxy. Gone are the days of simple and sweet prom dates with corsages and dance cards. Who needs a limo?!
ReplyDeleteGosh!!:)
