Hi, Lowell, me again. I just read your comments on my Venice posting. Venice really is a photographers paradise.
As far as the flooding, based on conversations with shop keepers, the water levels are rising. Just after we returned to the states, the water in St. Marks Square was between 2-3 feet deep.
Looks like someone wasn't paying attention, or wasn't awake. With the ambulance there perhaps someone was hurt? The accident probably tied up traffic for a long time.
With all those traffic lights hanging there I can understand how someone could get confused. It took four tries to get past word verification.
